Building on the legacy of the Spyderco Mantra™ series, the fourth-generation Mantra™ 4 is a sleek, stylish folding knife with an exceptionally refined front-flipper opener. In its closed position, a small portion of the blade's tang remains visible above the handle's spine. Despite its minimalist design, a gentle stroke of the index finger against its textured surface swiftly and reliably opens the blade. Crafted from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, the full-flat-ground blade features a fully functional Trademark Round Hole™ and operates on ball-bearing washers for ultra-smooth action.
The Mantra 4 is available in three distinct configurations: one featuring contoured white G-10 handle scales paired with a satin-finished blade; another incorporating carbon fibre/G-10 laminate scales alongside a satin-finished blade; and an all-black version, which boasts a black oxide-coated blade, contoured black G-10 scales, and black-coated handle hardware. Each configuration includes a single stainless steel liner nested in the reverse side of the scale, providing the foundation for the knife's reliable LinerLock mechanism while maintaining an exceptionally slim and lightweight profile.
All variants also feature a reversible deep-pocket wire clip and a lanyard hole. These features offer the convenience of left- or right-side tip-up carry, as well as the option to easily attach a lanyard or fob.
