Building on the legacy of the Mantra series from Spyderco, the fourth-generation Mantra 4 presents a sleek, stylish folding knife with an exceptionally refined front-flipper opener. When closed, a slim portion of the blade’s tang remains visible above the spine of the handle. A simple stroke of the index finger against its textured surface swiftly and reliably propels the blade into the open position.
Constructed from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, the full-flat-ground, satin-finished blade operates smoothly on low-friction ball bearing washers and is also equipped with the brand’s signature Trademark Round Hole™ for additional opening options. The open-backed handle features two peel-ply-textured carbon fiber/G-10 laminate scales, one of which is engineered to accommodate a nested stainless steel liner.
This skeletonised liner forms the core of the knife’s robust LinerLock mechanism and is carefully textured for effortless lock release. To ensure a balance between discreet carrying and immediate access, the Mantra 4 is fitted with a low-profile deep-pocket wire clip that is reversible for either left- or right-side tip-up carry.
