The Blue Force Gear Vickers M240 Sling is designed to improve machine gun slings. It combines high-quality materials with the renowned Quick Adjust feature of the Vickers Combat Applications Sling, which allows instant length adjustments without needing to remove the weapon.
This enables a seamless transition from carrying to combat situations. Like the SAW Sling, the M240 Sling has a larger pad and all metal hardware. The double-sided pad, measuring 4" wide x 24", ensures a padded surface carries the load, even if the sling flips during use.
This 2-point sling design eliminates the potential feeding hazard associated with 3-point slings. The front webbing piece (Adjuster side) is made from Nomex with metal hardware to resist burn-through if the sling contacts the hot barrel. Moreover, the sling features tri-glides on both ends, which can be looped through sling swivels on the gun or combined with Universal Wire Loops, HK Hooks, or MASH Hooks (sold separately).
