Introducing the Spyderco NAND, a distinctive new addition to the SLIPIT™ line of non-locking folding knives, designed by Paul Alexander, a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and passionate knife aficionado.
In its closed state, the "tail" of the full-flat ground blade protrudes from the pivot-pin end of the handle, enabling a one-handed opening reminiscent of a traditional straight razor. Once opened, twin ball bearing detents within the handle frame secure the blade sides in position.
This innovative Ball Joint Non-Locking Mechanism, combined with pressure on the blade's tail and ample finger choils, ensures a highly safe and stable grip. The NAND's full-flat ground blade is made from M398 stainless steel and features a fully functional Trademark Round Hole™.
Its handle scales are expertly machined from solid titanium and come equipped with a reversible deep-pocket wire clip, making the knife fully ambidextrous with options for left or right-side tip-up carry.
