The Chaparral SLIPIT replaces the traditional back lock mechanism with a full-length stainless steel backspacer and a "notched-joint" non-locking mechanism while retaining all its distinctive features. These include a full-flat-ground CTS XHP stainless steel blade, a textured index-finger choil and thumb ramp, a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™, and a reversible tip-up wire pocket clip.
With the Chaparral SLIPIT, users can benefit from clip carry and one-hand opening in a legally compliant package. The first version of the Chaparral SLIPIT is adorned with striking birdseye maple scales.
