This air-hardening, cold-work die steel is expertly crafted for exceptional wear resistance and toughness. Thanks to the CarTech® Micro-Melt powder metal process, the alloy composition boasts an ultra-fine, highly uniform grain structure. Functionally identical to CPM® CRU-WEAR®, this premium steel forms the full-flat-ground PlainEdge™ blade of the knife.
To enhance the sophistication of the elite Police 4 Lightweight, the blade is coated with non-reflective titanium carbonitride (TiCN). At the same time, the handle, made of fibreglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN), is injection moulded in a deep burgundy hue.
Complementing the black-and-burgundy aesthetic, the four-position pocket clip, lock bar, and handle hardware are finished with durable black coatings.
