It meets the requirements of the NRL22 series' base class and features a precision match chamber renowned for delivering exceptional accuracy. Bergara has expanded its selection of rimfire cartridges across several new calibres, including .22LR, .17 HMR, and .22 WMR, giving small game hunters the flexibility to select the rifle that best suits their requirements. The BMR maintains the look and feel that users have come to trust in the B-14 line but in a more compact format. It offers greater portability compared to standard full-sized rimfires.

The Carbon threaded barrel (1/2-28) is available in either 18" or 20" lengths, ensuring excellent manoeuvrability. The twist rate is 1:16" for the .22 LR and .22 WMR, and 1:9" for the .17 HMR. The BMR features a composite stock available in tactical grey with black speckling. It incorporates a Remington 700 style trigger, adjustable with an Allen key, and is compatible with most aftermarket triggers available for Remington 700 models, along with a side bolt release.

The box includes 5-round and 10-round low-profile magazines, suitable for all BMR rifles across the .22LR, .22WMR, and .17 HMR calibres. With an ultra-accurate match barrel, this rifle is perfect for shooters who demand the highest level of precision in the rimfire class.
