The Spyderco Sage 5 Salt combines the refined ergonomics and exceptional cutting performance of the popular Sage 5 platform with the outstanding corrosion resistance of Spyderco's Salt Series. Built for use in demanding outdoor and marine environments, it is equally suited to everyday carry, tactical applications and waterside adventures.

The full-flat-ground blade is crafted from CPM MagnaCut steel, an advanced powder-metallurgy steel that delivers an exceptional balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. Designed to perform in even the harshest conditions, MagnaCut makes the Sage 5 Salt an ideal choice for anyone working or spending time around water.

The blade is paired with Spyderco's renowned Compression Lock mechanism, offering smooth one-handed operation, exceptional strength and safe, ambidextrous use. The open-backed handle construction allows for easy cleaning and maintenance, while nested, skeletonised stainless steel liners provide strength without unnecessary weight.

This all-black version is purpose-built for tactical environments, featuring a non-reflective titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coated blade along with matching black-coated liners, pocket clip and hardware. The peel-ply-textured G-10 handle scales are precision-machined with Spyderco's distinctive Caribbean Bi-Directional Texture™ pattern, ensuring a secure grip in wet, muddy, or challenging conditions.

A reversible deep-carry wire pocket clip allows discreet left or right-hand tip-up carry, while the generously sized lanyard hole offers a secure attachment point for lanyards or safety lines during waterside use.

For users who require greater visibility in water, the Sage 5 Salt is also available with a satin-finished MagnaCut blade and distinctive black-and-yellow layered G-10 handle scales. The Caribbean Bi-Directional Texture™ exposes the bright yellow layers beneath the surface, making the knife easier to locate in low-light conditions or if dropped near water.
