This top-tier model goes even further by featuring a blade made from exclusive CPM SPY27 steel, developed in collaboration with Crucible® Industries. SPY27 enhances the VG-10 stainless steel composition with additional alloys and Crucible Industries' advanced particle metallurgy manufacturing process.
The knife's full-flat-ground blade is supported by a high-strength Compression Lock mechanism and nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners housed within fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) scales. Staying true to the CPM SPY27 family, the scales are injection moulded in a distinct cobalt-blue colour.
