The broad, leaf-shaped blade of the Manix 2 XL Salt is constructed from Crucible Industries’ CPM MagnaCut. This extraordinary particle metallurgy steel redefines traditional steelmaking principles, providing an exceptional balance of toughness, edge retention, and extreme corrosion resistance. Optimised for tactical applications, the blade features a Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating that minimises its reflective signature. It is expertly supported by a high-strength Ball Bearing Lock™ mechanism, encased within a handle that includes full skeletonised stainless steel liners and black G-10 scales.
The scales are designed with both a peel-ply texture and feature Spyderco’s signature Caribbean Bi-Directional Texture pattern to ensure an ultra-secure grip. In line with the DLC-coated blade, the knife’s liners, reversible tip-up pocket clip, and all additional hardware are constructed from ultra-corrosion-resistant materials and finished with low-profile black coatings.
