In the 1980s, the original Spyderco Endura blazed a trail as one of the first lightweight clip-carry folding knives. It remains one of the most popular Spydercomodels and continues to set the standard for all other knives of its breed.
Its fourth-generation has also inspired a broad range of variations to meet virtually every user's needs and preferences. Their skeletonized stainless steel liners and injection-moulded fibreglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handles distinguish the Endura 4 Lightweights.
This specific version of the design includes a stout sabre-ground VG-10 stainless steel blade with a partially serrated CombinationEdge™, and a low-profile black titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating. A sturdy back lock mechanism supports the blade, locking it securely open when in use yet allows easy ambidextrous lock release. Bi-Directional Texturing™ on the handle ensures a positive grip in even the most demanding conditions, and its four-position pocket clip is easily adjustable for tip-up or tip-down on either side of the body.
Like the blade, the knife's clip, lock bar, and other metal hardware all feature a stealthy, non-reflective black coating.
