The latest iteration of the Cara Cara is the Cara Cara2, featuring a durable G-10 handle. Its blade, made from high-performance 8Cr13MoV material, showcases a full-flat grind. The blade's "comet"-like hole is a testament to precision manufacturing and top-notch quality.
Added crosshatching, or jimping, is located on the blade's spine. This design choice boosts the thumb's traction on the edge, promoting safer, non-slip cutting. This knife comes equipped with a four-way clip for the first time. This means it can be clipped tip-up or tip-down, accommodating both left and right-handed users.
Once attached inside a pocket, the knife stays in place securely. The G-10 handle's design includes a finger choil, optimizing comfort and control during use. Its mid-positioned back lock incorporates a David Boye dent—a design innovation that ensures users can grip the handle firmly without accidentally disengaging the lock.
