The Para Military 2, released in 2010, brought several enhancements over its predecessor. It introduced a Bushing Pivot System for smoother action and consistent manufacturing standards.
The G-10 handle design was refined, tapering more towards the end for better ergonomics. The handle and blade were slimmed down to reduce discomfort when carried in a pocket in a closed position. This model features a Compression Lock® and a versatile four-way clip suitable for both left and right-handed users, and it allows for tip-up or tip-down carrying, ensuring deep pocket placement.
The knife boasts a high-performance, full, flat-ground CPM S45VN blade. Improvements include a lengthened blade tip, jimping on the spine, and finger choil for enhanced grip. A non-reflective DLC (Diamond-Like Coating) covers the blade, contributing to its stealthy appearance.
The handle's components, the pocket clip, and the blade are all finished in black to minimize reflection. While the overall upgrades might not be immediately noticeable, they enhance every aspect of the knife. From the textured G-10 handle to the entire flat black CPM SV45N steel blade, each element has been refined for peak sharpness, smoothness, and reliability, ensuring both performance and comfort for the user.
