The MOE Bipod represents the latest addition to the Magpul Bipod line, offering a lightweight design and robust construction.
Weighing just 8oz, it is approximately 40% lighter than some existing bipods without compromising strength and reliability. The injection-molded, proprietary polymer legs are engineered to withstand pressure without deforming or breaking, ensuring a stable shooting platform.
The MOE Bipod is designed with user convenience in mind. It easily attaches to the popular Uncle Mike's-style sling swivel stud, thanks to its rapid-attach sling stud mounting system. This system allows for quick and easy installation and removal. The self-locating, stainless-steel clasps ensure precise alignment during mounting, while the large ergonomic thumbwheel provides a secure grip and effortless tightening.
The non-marring, over-molded saddle securely fits on most forends, offering optimal load distribution without leaving any marks on the rifle. An optional low-profile sling stud on the rear of the mount allows for sling attachment to the rifle's forend, adding to its versatility. With a low stack height of 1.73" when folded, the MOE Bipod remains unobtrusive until needed.
The legs neatly stow forward and deploy without buttons or levers, snapping down and locking into position. The legs extend from 7 to 10 inches and securely lock in place with a button on seven, ½-inch spaced locking detents. Furthermore, the staggered soft rubber feet provide a reliable grip on various shooting surfaces and can be easily removed with a roll pin punch for replacement. The legs are compatible with most Atlas-pattern bipod-replaceable feet.
