This bipod combines ergonomic innovation, functionality, strength, and value. It is constructed from lightweight Mil-Spec hard anodized 6061 T-6 aluminium and injection-moulded polymer. Its low-profile design conceals internal mechanisms and hardware, making it resistant to snags and bumps.
The bipod is optimized for quick one-handed adjustments, enabling seamless transitions between user configurations. When in the shooting position, the bipod can be quickly loaded with stabilizing forward tension, ensuring reliable performance without warping or failure. Its aluminium and stainless steel components and reinforced polymer guarantee years of dependable use while maintaining a lightweight profile, weighing just over 11 oz. The leg extensions securely lock into place with the push of a button on any of the seven half-inch spaced locking detents. The legs extend from 6.8" to 10.3", providing a 3.5-inch extension.
With an industry-exclusive 50° of total tilt and 40° of total pan, users can make adjustments using the glove-friendly knurled tool-less bipod locking knob located between the extended legs. It also offers the exclusive ability to lock the pan at 0° while retaining full tilt functionality. When folded, the streamlined housing and legs fit neatly under the barrel, measuring just under 2.3" deep and 3.3" wide.
Anodized surfaces and precise tolerances minimize squeaks and rattles. The bipod locking knob cap, made of soft rubber, provides a steady, non-marring forward rest when the bipod is folded. Its staggered soft rubber feet also offer stability on various shooting surfaces and can be easily removed with a roll pin punch.
Users can also replace the feet with most Atlas pattern bipod replaceable feet, except for the Atlas 5-H style.
