This rifle is purpose-built as an authentic rimfire "trainer" designed to match the dimensions of the REM700 platform. This allows shooters to experience a similar size and feel to their Centrefire rifles, making it ideal for training or replicating their Centrefire setup. It is compatible with REM700 stocks, bases, and triggers. The magazine is a single-stack .22LR version, constructed to the exact dimensions of a standard short-action AICS magazine.
The Bergara HMR stock features a moulded mini-chassis, integrated OD flush cup sling mounts, swivel mounts, an adjustable cheekpiece, and length-of-pull settings. A full-length integrated mini-chassis also ensures consistent bedding and supports a fully free-floated barrel for enhanced accuracy.
