The Spyderco Para Military 2 Lightweight Salt takes one of Spyderco’s most iconic folding knife designs and refines it. It combines that design with lightweight construction, outstanding corrosion resistance, and the exceptional performance of CPM MagnaCut steel.
Building on the hugely popular Para Military 2 platform, this Lightweight Salt version is more than 25% lighter than its traditional G-10-handled counterpart. Its injection-moulded fibreglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) handle reduces overall weight while Spyderco’s proven Bi-Directional Texture™ provides a secure, confidence-inspiring grip, even in wet conditions.
At the heart of the knife is a full-flat-ground blade made from CPM MagnaCut, an advanced powder metallurgy stainless steel known for its impressive combination of edge retention, toughness, and exceptional corrosion resistance. This makes it particularly well suited to outdoor, marine, and demanding everyday environments where moisture exposure is unavoidable.
The satin-finished blade is available in PlainEdge™ or fully serrated SpyderEdge™, letting users choose the cutting edge that best suits their needs. Spyderco’s signature Trademark Round Hole™ enables quick, easy one-handed opening.
