The CRKT M16® - 01KZ blade is 8CR15MoV high-carbon stainless steel which gives an ideal mixture of toughness and edge-holding capability in a work knife and allows easy field-sharpening. The Carson Flipper allows speedy blade opening and acts as a blade guard when the blade is open. Automated liner safety is the innovation taken to the next level, setting a pin between the locking liner and the frame. This pin acts as an additional layer of safety, so the locking liner is less likely to disengage during use.
