CRKT Pilar® Large

CRKT Pilar® Large

With a larger blade and a handsome stonewash finish, the CRKT Pilar® Large keeps the heart of the bestselling original and the epic story behind its title.

It’s understated when folded away and carefully developed to punch above its weight when used.

Jesper Voxnaes created the original CRKT Pilar® in his shop in Denmark. Anointed after Ernest Hemingway’s beloved boat—the 38-foot long vessel he used for renegade surveillance of German U-boats during WWII in Caribbean waters.

The world-famous writer was also a big-game hunter, sailor, and fisherman and would have chosen an everyday knife companion like one of the Pilar® options for his daily labours.

The hardworking blade features a stonewash finish, and the vital tip is helpful for more detailed tasks.

The blade of the Pilar is deployed from its stainless steel handle with a thumb slot opening option as well as a flipper mechanism and is secured with a frame lock for your safety.
