Bushnell R7 10x50 Binoculars

Designed for hunters who demand more as daylight begins to fade, the Bushnell R7 10x50 Binoculars combine versatile 10x magnification with larger 50mm objective lenses for superior performance in challenging light.

The 10x magnification provides plenty of reach for scanning open countryside, identifying game and picking out finer details at distance. At the same time, the larger objectives gather more light than more compact 42mm binoculars. The result is a highly capable hunting optic, particularly well suited to the important periods around dawn and dusk.

With a 5mm exit pupil and a field of view of 113m at 1,000m, the R7 10x50 combines strong low-light capability with a generous viewing area, letting hunters search the landscape capably without sacrificing the added detail of 10x magnification.

More Light When It Matters Most

The R7 10x50's defining advantage is its ability to make the most of limited available light.

The larger 50mm objective lenses gather more light in the early morning and late evening, helping maintain a bright, usable image when smaller binoculars may begin to struggle. This makes the 10x50 an excellent choice for hunters who regularly find themselves glassing woodland edges, fields and open ground during the first or last light of the day.

At the heart of the optical system is Bushnell ED Prime Glass, designed to deliver excellent clarity, contrast and colour fidelity while reducing colour fringing. This allows finer details to remain easier to distinguish, particularly when viewing game against busy backgrounds or at greater distances.

Sharpness From Centre to Edge

The R7 10x50 also incorporates field-flattener optics, designed to maintain image sharpness across the entire field of view.

Rather than producing the clearest image only through the centre of the binocular, the field-flattener system helps retain detail towards the edges. This provides a more natural viewing experience when scanning larger areas and reduces the need to continually reposition the binoculars to bring objects into the centre of the image.

For hunters who spend long periods searching the landscape, this consistent edge-to-edge clarity can also help reduce eye weariness during prolonged glassing sessions.

Premium Optics Throughout

Bushnell complements the ED Prime Glass with fully multi-coated optics, dielectric prism coatings and PC-3 phase coating, all working together to maximise light transmission and image quality. The R7 10x50 uses high-quality BaK-4 Schmidt-Pechan prisms in its optical system.

This combination matters most in a binocular designed for low-light hunting. Rather than depending solely on the larger objective lenses, the complete optical system delivers the contrast, resolution, and brightness needed to distinguish detail when conditions become challenging.

Strong, Balanced and Comfortable

Despite the larger 50mm objectives, the R7 10x50 is designed for extended use. A magnesium alloy chassis provides a strong, durable foundation while keeping unnecessary weight to a minimum. The open-bridge design provides a secure and comfortable grip while improving balance during prolonged handheld viewing.

The R7 also features a locking diopter, allowing precise adjustment to the individual user’s eyesight before locking the setting securely in place.

Three interchangeable eyecup sets are included: a low-profile option for glasses wearers, a standard mid-height design for general use and winged eyecups designed to help block unwanted side light and wind.

Ready for British Weather

Good hunting conditions and good weather rarely go hand in hand, so the R7 10x50 is designed to continue performing when conditions deteriorate.

Bushnell’s EXO Barrier® protective lens coating repels water, oil, dust, snow, and debris, helping maintain a clear view in wet, dirty, and changeable environments.

The binoculars are also IPX7 waterproof-rated and nitrogen-purged to help prevent internal fogging as temperatures and weather conditions change. Whether you're dealing with a wet morning in the woods or exposed conditions on the hill, the R7 is built for serious field use.

Built for Hunters Who Stay Out Longer

Where the R7 10x42 prioritises portability, the Bushnell R7 10x50 places greater emphasis on light gathering and extended viewing performance. Its combination of 10x magnification and 50mm objectives makes it a great option for hunters who regularly operate in open or mixed terrain but don’t want to call it a day simply because the light is beginning to fade.

With ED Prime Glass, field-flattener optics, a rugged magnesium chassis, and weatherproof construction, the R7 10x50 delivers the clarity, reach, and dependable low-light performance needed for long days in the field.
