This premium material consists of a VG-10 stainless steel core sandwiched between two outer billets of Damascus, each composed of 15 layers of forget-welded steel. When the blade is full-flat ground and acid-etched, it displays its breathtaking 31-layer pattern-welded construction.
The elite blade of this knife is then paired with a handle featuring full stainless steel liners and blue Nishijin glass fibre scales. Inspired by a 1,200-year-old Japanese method of textile weaving, this material translates the meticulous, colourful detail of the original Nishijin art form to a stunningly beautiful state-of-the-art glass fibre.
